2006 SPE RUSSIAN AND CASPIAN REGIONAL STUDENT PAPER CONTEST

MOSCOW, RUSSIA

Don’t miss your chance to take part in the 2006 Russian and Caspian Regional Student Paper Contest being held in conjunction with the 2006 Russian Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition, Moscow, Russia.

The contest will be divided into two divisions – Undergraduate Division and Postgraduate Division (Masters and Doctorate).  The submitted abstracts will be judged and the winner for each division for each student chapter will be invited to participate in the paper contest during the 2006 Russian Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition.  To ensure fairness and consistency, the abstracts should be submitted according to the SPE format (attached).  The contest will be simultaneously translated in both Russian and English. 

Similar to last year , prizes will be awarded, including a trip to a major SPE conference outside of Russia to the first prize winners of each division.  Additionally, all attendees will be allowed to participate, at least in part, in the 2006 Russia Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition.

To submit a paper for the contest, please send a 300 word abstract , in either Russian or English, to relson@spe.org by 30 JULY 2006.
