As an initiative to increase efficiency in our operations, and to keep Project development up to date in terms of technology, SGK has begun to setup a Strategy on Rigs upgrade & Real Time Data Centre (RTDC) in order to make operations and service quality control more efficient, provide monitoring operations in all pads, prevent service quality incidents and if happen, begin its mitigation right away. Also, to enable better tracking of NPT with real time data, improve accuracy in daily reporting of NPT and eliminate the duplication of database and operations tracking being done by different departments.

OBJECTIVES

• Revise all currently available drilling equipments & monitoring facilities on wellsite, which data is transmitted in real-time and which is not, check for opportunity to combine data sources like mud logging to make a united information source on wellsite.
• Check for required rig modernizations to be done in terms of data monitoring and delivery.
• Identify which drilling equipments & drilling parameters which need to be transmitted to office (i.e. drilling parameters, MWD data, hole cleaning, kick detection etc). Find out the reliable data streaming (communication provider, applicability of Interact).
• Develop drilling optimization procedures performed by RTDC and make results evaluation.
• Set up NPT database tracked by real time.
• Create the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) of new workflow based on RTDC operations; prepare organization structure and reporting lines.
• Define and Implement KPI’s for the RTDC.
• Early identifying of potential SQ incidents.
• Assess the value delivered by RTDC.
